Khabib Nurmagomedov is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. Nurmagomedov is holds records in other leagues. He is a two-time Combat Sambo World Champion, holds a black belt in Judo, and holds the longest undefeated streak in MMA history with a total of 26 wins. Nurmagomedov made his UFC debut in 2012 against Kamal Shalorus. Nurmagomedov defeated Shalorus in the third round by submission. Since then, Khabib Nurmagomedov faced formidable opponents such as Rafael dos Anjos, Edson Barboza, Al Iaquinta, and has remained undefeated. Since joining the UFC, Nurmagomedov has remained undefeated which means he has won all 10 of his UFC battles. Next, Nurmagomedov is facing Conor McGregor.
Conor “The Notorious Mystic Mac” McGregor has had an explosive, and some would say controversial, UFC and MMA career. Back in 2008, McGregor began his MMA career where he won both Cage Warriors Featherweight and Lightweight Championships simultaneously prior to signing with the UFC. Then, in 2013, Conor McGregor made his debut in the UFC against Marcus Brimage, who he defeated in the first round. Since then, Conor has built an impressive record of 21 wins – 18 by TKO, 1 by submission, and 2 by decision. Conor has fought in two weight divisions and has even crossed into boxing, and now he is back to reclaim his UFC Lightweight title.
