On December 10, 2016 Max Holloway will going head to head with Anthony Pettis for the interim Featherweight Title Belt. This fight is replacing Daniel Cormier Vs. Anthony Johnson. Cormier was forced to back out of the fight due to an unexpected injury.

Max Holloway is a mixed martial artist with a Blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and is expertly trained in kickboxing. He is also the #3 ranked fighter in the official UFC featherweight rankings. Currently on a 9-streak win, Holloway has fought a total of 19 times and has won 16 of them. His wins have included: 6 by TKO, 2 by submission, and 8 by decision.

Anthony Pettis is a mixed martial artist who is trained in Boxing, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, & Capoeira and also has a Brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Pettis is the current #6 ranked featherweight fighter in official UFC rankings. Pettis has fought a total of 24 times, and has won 19 of those battles. He won 7 by TKO, 9 by submission, and 3 by decision.
